STORY EDITING

(WHAT IS IT & HOW DOES IT WORK)

As an actively working screenwriter in the industry, I know the significance that a new perspective can lend to a project. Over the years I have developed a deep understanding of stories and their structure so that I can be that pillar of support for you.

I have provided script consultations for a range of projects, including Features, Shorts, and TV Pilots, catering to a broad spectrum of clients, from aspiring students to well-established industry veterans. I have written many of my own competition-acclaimed scripts and look forward to helping you achieve a final draft you can be proud of!

My objective when providing feedback is to motivate the writer to return to their work by equipping them with a strategic approach for their next draft or phase of the writing journey, utilizing specific and actionable feedback. I will pinpoint the strengths within your script/ideas while also highlighting the aspects that may benefit from further refinement.

“Behind every great Writer is a Story Editor positioned to help them see the forest for the trees.”

Every consultation will commence with a brief interview, during which I will inquire about the specific feedback you seek and any specific challenges or obstacles you're currently facing. This way, I can offer you personalized notes that are precisely tailored to your story.

The turnaround time for my written feedback depends on the length of your script, typically ranging from 2 to 3 weeks. Following the receipt of my notes, we will promptly schedule a follow-up session to help walk you through any notes that may require further clarification.

Your Written Notes Will Include Feedback Covering:
